This is my friend Rodion who saved me from going insane after spending two month alone at home during war. He visited me from time to time and we spent long evenings talking and sharing thoughts about how our life changed and where it will go after this. When we made this picture we were sitting on a grass under a beautiful blossomed tree and a light rain. It was cloudy and the weather was grey but we felt hidden and sheltered in this first spring blooms that gave us a feeling of hope. At that moment I felt that everything bad always ends, same as spring always comes. This image and moment united Rodion's masculinity with tender beauty in a form of flower and told how fragile our souls are though appearing strong on the outside.
