Human quest for freedom cannot be smothered. From Gezi Park in Istanbul to Tahrir Square in Cairo, where there is tyranny, there are heroes who stand up. This NFT documents the moment in time when ordinary citizens of Hong Kong organized themselves on social media and stood up for themselves and their future in 2019. It captures the emotions and sentiments of an entire movement along with, and in the words of, those who scripted it. The words, “Sorry for the inconvenience, we are fighting for the future of our home”, "Freedom! Where are you?", "Resist for conscience", "Welcome to the city of expired teargas", "Stand with HK, Fight for freedom" and "#FREEHK" will go down in the annals of history as cries of defiance by a city that just wanted to be free.
